Dough
  1. 1 1/2 eggs
  2. 3/4 cups sugar
  3. 1 1/2 cups flours
  4. 7 tbs butter, melted
Filling
  1. 3 large honey crisp apples
  2. 2 tbs lemon juice
  3. 1/4 cup sugar
  4. a few dashes of cinnamon
Instructions
  1. For the dough, whisk the sugar and eggs until the color becomes a creamy-white.
  2. Add in the flour and butter, and mix until Gough forms.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for about one hour to let harden.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  5. Spray a 9" pie pan with cooking spray and spread the dough in.
  6. For the filling, slice the apples into a 1/4".
  7. Layer the apples over the dough in a circular motion, beginning from the inside, going out.
  8. Once all the apples are in the pan, put lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon over them.
  9. Bake on 400 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
  1. If the dough is too soft, place back in the fridge to let sit until it's hard enough. The dough can stay in the fridge, uncooked, up to three days.
  2. If the crust starts to burn in the oven, put tinfoil over it and continue to bake.
